#28 very strange camouflage #29 beautiful breath and focus, nearly impossible

    • newfie_chiver

#29 i had the same look on my face as the woman in the background when staring at these puppies… need i say – MOAR?!

    • AmBush_Steve

If I'm not mistaken, these American F-16s are part of an "Agressor" Squadron. They're cam'd up to look like enemy aircraft. They're used for dogfight training.

  • rtaylor12

wow camouflage!!! its truly amazing how they are making the entire background disappear #4 #11 #29 #48

  • scotology

Not sure why, but I suddenly have a boner for fighter jets

  • Muadieb

#1 #7 #19 #49 I am digging the digital camo on these guys, but are they showcasing the aircraft or what? Either way, looks awesome.

    • AmBush_Steve

Thank Canada for using this cam first on our uniforms.

Yet you show our CF-5 that has been out of service for decades.

How about our CF-18 that has the trademark false cockpit? Very handy in dogfights when the opposition can't figure out if you're up or down?

Canada invented the digital cammo. Supposed to be harder to detect and better at camouflage.

  • maboze1x

    I'm sensing a theme.

  • shnugs

    MOAR #11 Because.

  • Funk Monkey

Unless there's suddenly grass and brush in the air, isn't some of this "camoflage" doing quite the opposite? Of course in an age of advanced warning systems and assted optics maybe the blue/grey underbelly camo probably isn't as useful as it maybe once was…

    #7 #13 #28 #39 #47

    • John

Or maybe the grass/brush camo is for when they're on the ground…consider that?

      • Jordan

So why are they painting grass/brush camo under the aircraft ?

        • Pilot

You have to remember that they are seen from many many angles not just from above or below, Enemy aircraft can be at any altitude or angle from the fighters. and when in a dogfight they can be on their side or upside down and they can blend in with the mountains

#11 #48 These aren't camouflage. I'm gonna have to confiscate these for further testing.

      • kodakkid

you need to relax it was a commentary on how under funded our military so who's the cunt.

        • AmBush_Steve

Do you have a clue what you're talking about? How familiar are you with the Canadian military?

I personally have a bit of experience and can assure you that there are very few Canadian soldiers who feel the way you do. Probably 30 years or so experience to be precise. Sure that might have been the case in the past but present day we're pretty well off. I might have been a bit premature with the t-shirt but I figure I've got the right to be a bit defensive when someone disrespects my livelihood.

          • kodakkid

I have friends and family in the Canadian Military and would never attempt to disrespect our troops. We are as a family sending my 14 yr old to Vimy because we feel its important that our youth understand the sacrifice's you and those who went before you made for us.That said when you look at what many other branches of our government receive in salary and equipment I think there is an imbalance that needs to be corrected.
P.S Thank You for your service.
