This happened in Kansas…

Looks like you shot a bunch of stuff and are calling it one round, unless you expect me to believe that someone fired a Barrett at your house in which case the lady’s head would have been ripped off by the kinetic energy of the round as it flew into the wall above her.

    • WildMan

      100% false. Read a book

    • Uncle SAMs misguided child

That good sir is a myth, a barter 50. Cal BMG round will not do that, maybe a mk. II 50 caliber machine gun but even that I’m pretty sure is a myth… In order for that amount of kinetic energy to be transferred she would have to have direct contact to an object being hot by the round. It’s physics.

  • Skep

Anyone else thinking it wasn't a stray bullet? Looks to me like it was pretty well aimed.

  • Derpa Derpa

She was "standing" in front of her fridge? How tall is that fridge?

  • Chantal82

This looks like an armor piercing round. Were there any police call outs that same day.

  • Gregoero

If it was me I wouldn't have missed

  • Alex

And that is why people should not fire their guns into the air. THESE IDIOTS DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT WHAT GOES UP, MUST COME DOWN.

    • Travis

Idiot. The bullet was traveling at an almost 90 degree angle.

    • WildMan

Yea, someone fired a rifle in the air and I went through this stuff on a flat trajectory

  • irisoriginals

Yeah shooting the gun in the air is stupid because of terminal velocity an all but the don’t come hurling toward the earth then make a turn to go straight into a hou a window at that

    I like chocolate.

And the location of this war zone?????? Tell me there is a U-Haul in the driveway and your are packing.

  • Jon

Was she trying to leave the kitchen

Isn't overt misogyny a sign of repressed homosexuality?

Most likely it was a monolithic bullet from a rifle, i.e. a .308. For those that don't shoot much, a monolithic bullet is a lead-free solid core round. Some of these types of bullets don't have cavities in them and will not expand and will have an insane amount of penetrating force. I know some hunters in PA that have used them.

That is so possible! Im just glad it didn’t hit a hot pocket when it went through the freezer

  • Bryanwaltz

“was she trying to leave the kitchen?” Hahahahaha. Awesome.

  • John Arwood

1002 uses for duct tape. Patching the bullet holes in window, wall, refrigerator, and water bottle.

    Any mythbusters in your area?

  • http://theChive panchomagnifico

I call bullshit. Unless of course they used the same bullet that killed Kennedy.

  • Nick

OK, What caliber was it, from how far away and what was the fire arm? The one shot that shows the actual projectile (though from the rear at an angle). makes me think it was a pistol round and from what little I see is is in good shape for having done all that. I believe the ice bottle would have damaged the bullet more, or was that a grazing shot? everything else is thin and soft and would not provide that much resistance.

I'm really glad no one was hurt either. There really should be better gun control. And I own 4 guns so you can shut the fuck up now.
