    • echogeo

Ripley: "Hudson! This little girl survived longer than that with no weapons and no training. Right?"
      [Newt apes a salute]
Hudson: "Why don't you put her in charge?"

      • Trinculo

        Hudson, sir. He's Hicks.

Did anyone else hear a rumor when they were in elementary school that if you collected 5 of the wrappers with the star and sent it in the Tootsie Roll Company sent you a free bag of Tootsie Pops? When I was a kid that sounded legit.

    • Jace

i thought that stupid rumor was only at my school i wonder how that came about ??

    • Lisa

I heard that too! I sent it in once, they sent me a story about how the Indian somehow injected the lollipops with Tootsie Rolls, and NO candy. SCAM.

      • Deck

Glad someone actually followed through on that. I was always too lazy.

    • sadman

My neighbor hood 7-11 would exchange one star on the wrapper for one Tootsie pop. One day I went in and the same lady who had been doing it for years, said it was over and never to be done again (about 1989, man I feel old).

    • HotashNerd

At the gas station where I lived if we brought the star ones back in they gave us a free tootsie pop! I thought that happened everywhere. Who knew?

    • chappy

They're really nice about it now… they send a full response with a story and everything… but like lisa said, no candy 😦
If you're superstitious, its said to be lucky to have a red wrapper (with full indian) under the sole of each of your shoes.

      • chappy

        *Good Luck

  • doogie

Don't you say that. Don't you ever say that. Stay here. Stay here as long as you can. For the love of God, cherish it. You have to cherish it.

    • Johhnyslappingham

This shoud've been posted in gif format. Shacking my head back and forth doesn't quite have the same effect

      • Connor MacManus

  • Don

#17 You keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.

    • Master_Rahl

"Am I going MAD, or did the word "think" escape your lips? You were not hired for your brains, you hippopotamic land mass. " Vizzini, great character. Excellent death scene, too. Always makes me laugh.
