Let’s face it this ‘list’ is complete bullshit and in no particular order. But it is a fun list and includes a lot of restaurants I’ve been to and enjoyed. If I’m missing any, and I know I am, email me and I’ll run this back next week with your input and suggestions.

Mama’s in San Francisco. The line is worth the wait.

Katz Deli, New York. Wake up early as shit, get a ticket, and grab a tray. You get your choice of lean or fatty meat with a side of cheese blintzes or knish, or of course, a bagel with lox.

The Runcible Spoon in Bloomington, IN. Don’t forget to visit the bathroom. No, seriously.

Zell’s Cafe in Portland, Oregon

Front Porch Cafe, Miami

Ria’s Bluebird in Atlanta, Georgia. The fish and grits. That is all.

Pancake Pantry. Nashville. The food is great and so is the view of the Vanderbilt coeds…

The Breakfast Klub, Houston

I think you should serve chips and salsa at every meal. That’s just me. So I always make the trip down to El Segundo, CA for breakfast at Fantastic Cafe. Their breakfast menu is extensive for a small cafe. Most importantly, the people there are nice. If you return, they’ll remember you.

Kozy Kitchen, Dallas

The Sportsman’s Lodge in LA. During football season, possibly one of the best buffet’s and sports atmosphere you can find. One of our favorite NFL spots.

Ann Sather, Chicago. Because the Swedish can cook a mean breakfast, man.

Quaker Diner, West Hartford, Conn.

Every time I’m in New York I go to Fluffy’s Cafe a couple times a day. This is me at midnight being all butthurt because it was closed. The service is fast and the food is delicious and simple. Basically, if I could put up a tent and camp out at this place, I would.

This is Willie’s Family Restaurant in Fort Wayne, IN. I worked my way through high school here. The pancakes here are almost as special as the waitresses, some of the kindest gals I’ve known.

Honey’s Sit ‘n Eat, Philly

One of our favorite places in LA is Pepy’s Galley in the Mar Vista Lanes. Eat breakfast and watch some bowling. The Dude abides.

Mother’s, New Orleans. Possibly the best breakfast place in the world (get the debris grits).

Brother Juniper’s, Memphis

Roscoe’s Chicken ‘n Waffles in LA.
