    I thought apple was a shout-out to someone that didn’t get credit for their work and took a bite of a poison apple to commit suicide. Also, didn’t sony start by making rice cookers? Why name a company after sound if you make rice cookers?

    Not so sure about #2: Apple was a brand created by the Beatles was long before Apple Computers existed, as was the apple logo with the rainbow colors and bite from the side.

    The intel one is backwards. It's pretty obvious that the moTEL chain was called inTEL, not Moore Noyce. Intel bought the rights to the name after the company was already founded.

    From what I understand Sony was founded in Japan shortly after WW2 ended by Standard Oil New York T\thus the Sony logo
