: Just one short year ago I got my first dog, Bella aka The Bear. She joins me for “work” everyday and has quickly became a staple of theCHIVE family. It’s been an awesome first year of cleaning up metric tons of shit and piss (mostly indoors). A lot has happened in one year; she turned from brown to blond, visited the emergency vet 5 times for eating, well, everything that’s not actually food and has taken on a handful of nicknames: The Bear, The Destructor, and Fraggs (Fraggle Rock). We celebrated her first birthday the other day and she had no F’ing clue what was going on because she’s a dog. Happy Birthday Bear!
