where's that Indian kid who roller skates under cars? This is right up his alley.

        • Indian Kid

Seriously–who puts a bike lane on a sidewalk anyway? That's just asinine.

A better example.. clearly sign posted..

      • LucretiusCarus

This one here is a very good solution as well. But I guess form an American perspective we wouldn't call this a sidewalk, really.

And it's certainly nothing like what you saw above here in Bulgaria.

    • Dr_StrangePants

makes more sense then pissing off the car behind you going 3 times your top speed

    • LucretiusCarus

I guess you're all missing the point–a bike lane in the road would be far more sensible than one on the sidewalk. You don't have to dodge people or cars that way.

I'm sorry, but vehicles of any sort just don't belong on sidewalks.

      • Rider

All missing the point or just not accepting yours….they work fine just as described in the links above.

+1 for pulling out and dusting off the word asinine…..

      • LucretiusCarus

Thank you, sir. I have a virtual cornucopia of seldom-used words to unleash on you all.

Look for "slake" in the near future.

Good thing I got a square bike that transforms into a round one.

    • Sigh

Scumbag Stan…rewords caption, tries to pass it off as his own.

"I think the bike lane painters had a few too many happy hour drink specials before they got to work. I mean….wow."

  • KeepCalmDriveOn

I've seen less coordinated drivers on US roads, this is almost an upgrade.

    • passwordistaco

An upgrade of less coordinated drivers? You sir make no sense at all.

  • echogeo

And not a single bike is seen.

    • Drago

Because the bike culture isn't that popular here 🙂

That's typical of city planners isn't it?

Add time trials to these and you have something way more fun to watch than tour de france. Hell the challenge and randomness of the whole looks like fun even.
