That show Face Off is pretty interesting. Reminds me of this.
Thats always been the cool thing about Benicio Del Toro. He believes in using real effects as much as possible instead of letting CG do all the work.
HAHA!! WTF! I meant Guillermo Del Toro. Got my Del Toro's mixed up.
Haha, I was about to rip you to shreds, too! Good save!
lol.. still nothing better than real.
This is so awesome. I wonder how long it took to get into that suit every day.
I loved this movie. He also had eyes on his palms if I remember correctly…
No he didn't the demon in the wall had it not him.
Yeah you're right, thanks. Will have to watch it again soon
You don't remember correctly
You are sort of correct, the same actor played both characters. The faun did not have the eyes in his palms, the Pale Man did.
Umm I hope those hideous chompers in his mouth are for the costume. If not he needs to go to a fucking dentist
Mad hit man I think the eyes were on the weird guy in the dining room area that came to life when the girl ate that grape
this movie is awesome go watch it
Pan's Labyrinth was amazing. Brutal as well. Definitely old fairy tale sensibilities. Doug Jones is unbelievable in everything he does. Hellboy, Pan's Labyrinth, Fantastic Four, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, so many to name. Even in Fallout: Nuka Break (the webseries) where he played a >gasp< human. He makes the fantasy into reality. Truly gifted.
Does that suit have a penis?
It sure looks like it. And four nipples. Kinky.
Those TEETH! the teeth in pics #20 are horrifying; wait, what? Not prosthetics? They're HIS OWN teeth; oh, never mind. Sorry <p class="comment-thumbs"><a style="display: block; width: 69px; height: 105px;" href="http://thechive.com/2012/03/27/the-process-of-bringing-the-faun-from-pans-labyrinth-to-life-28-photos/making-faun-pans-labyrinth-makeup-20/"><img style="position: absolute;" class="comment-thumb" id="img-21-incomment-325482959" src="http://thechive.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/making-faun-pans-labyrinth-makeup-20.jpg?w=69&h=105" alt="Image #21" border="0" height="105" width="69"><a style="display: block; width: 78px; height: 105px;" href="http://thechive.com/2012/03/27/the-process-of-bringing-the-faun-from-pans-labyrinth-to-life-28-photos/making-faun-pans-labyrinth-makeup-21/"><img style="position: absolute;" class="comment-thumb" id="img-22-incomment-325482959" src="http://thechive.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/making-faun-pans-labyrinth-makeup-21.jpg?w=78&h=105" alt="Image #22" border="0" height="105" width="78">
Am I the only one not getting how he sees with that thing on?
Now I’m craving Del Taco. Too bad Chicago has none.
#20 is he english?
If that stereotype was true your comment would be funny, but it's not, so it's not.
did he touch a nerve? twas just a joke lad or lass
No not really if there was any truth in it I wouldn't care, i just find it weird that the major stereotype that Americans think about the British is the exact opposite of the truth, the Brits officially have the healthiest teeth on the planet.
really? only one coment about the tiny penis? and there not even too sure if its there?……..Yea i went there
Do you know how I know you are gay?
no need to drag the gays into that none sense….that's Freud's dream patient right there.
Haha that person said Benecio Del Toro directed this. His name is Guillermo, not Benecio.
In #16the and 17 find that girl
Pretty cool, but show me the process for The Pale Man (the character with the eyes in his palms). That guy was freaky as balls.
#24 is the extra set of nipples really necessary
Or the faun penis….
Just like your penis is not really necessary.
Sorry. This was the goddamn worst movie I have ever seen. Tried to fall asleep in self-defense, but the horrible music ruined that, too.
It's ok… it isnt a movie for stupid people… the subtitles make it hard for them to follow..
Doug Jones on top of all that makeup and body work doesn't speak Spanish either, and had to memorize all his lines phonetically. He, like Andy Serkis, is one of those incredibly underrated actors working harder than alot of the seven- and eight-figure leads.
that movie was so awful
The people in this line of work always impress me. As well as the actors amount of patients to get all this done.
hmm… should i go first? or just wait?
I got the chance to meet Doug Jones, the man behind the mask, last October. One of the nicest guys I've ever met and talked to. Really cool dude.
Met him a couple months ago and I totally agree! One of the nicest people Ive ever met.
