Mind blowing sandbox of the future (Video)

This is a nice sandbox from the future and i like it very much nice video very good.

See i cant say all this in my real life to people without getting caught so i say it here.

As someone who works in the civil engineering field, I can see some great applications for this thing.

And I don't care about a single one of them. I just wanna play with it.

Oh man, this would be fun to play with… But am I the only one who would end up taking their home and then make "meteor impacts" with golf balls just to see the possible change in the landscape?

Forget sand, topography, battlefields and engineering applications: the real killer app here is to replace the lousy, counter intuitive 3D design apps on the market. You could design things so much faster with something based on this than those tools.

Whatever happened to letting kids play with simple things and having them use their imagination? As a kid, you don't need some crazy sandbox to imagine you are building civilizations. Calvin and Hobbes would be very disappointed.

Meanwhile my kid will be in a box. With sand. "Just because you can doesn't mean you should."

I mean, come on… A program that recognizes the contour and relief that you make in the sand and it projects the appropriate effects onto the sand? HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!? This would be awesome just to fool around with, not to mention the battle and video games that were mentioned above… =D

Entertaining for kids: maybe. Entertaining for college kids on shrooms: definitely.

Wanna know how i know im still a kid at heart? the whole time i wanted him to draw a colorful dick… HAha secondly, technology is crazy. You are living with your eyes closed if you dont realize that the day in age we live in is amazing.

This obviously isn't made for kids. Their going to strap these things to satellites and planes and get real-time layouts of the world. The video is just demonstrating how precise their technology is.
