    no table.
    where do they eat?

    • @DavidStamatis

At the restaurant down the street.

    • mrjimmyos

They know that this generation will just be eating at the computer desk anyways XD

  • guest

It's surely a clever design – but where do you eat?

    • Dale Buckingham

It's a bachelor pad – you eat on the sofa in front of the TV LOL

Seriously though, I often wonder what architects/designers are thinking with such small common living space, but then I realize probably most people who buy/live in these places don't do dinner-parties with friends – they either eat at home alone or go out to restaurants with friends, so why leave wasted space for a table and chairs. Honestly in my place, I think I've used my dining table FOR dining like 4 times in the 7 years I've had my condo. I'd seriously have to de-clutter, but I could totally live in this apartment.

A nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. Just too small and cramped looking.

  • Dork

Wow! That is the most cozy jail cell I have ever seen!

  • Cinders

I would be afraid of falling out of that bed and down the stairs either: having sex, being drunk or still half asleep. The desk area seems like wasted space since so many people have laptops now and just sit on the couch to do their work. Also that fridge is too large and unnecessary for such a small place. Rather have a few more inches of counter space. But the bathroom looks nice 🙂

    • @DavidStamatis

It's difficult to not have a desk. Even with a laptop, you have to have some surface where you can deal with paper. Could also use it as a dinner table in this case, since you're likely eating alone.

This is strangely appealing to me. I'm an older family guy with a nice sized house full of crap we have collected over the years and while it is nice to not have to run to the store whenever you need something there is also a strange appeal to minimizing everything to the basics. Less to clean, less to get lost, less to worry about. Remembering the good ole days when I could spend half a day packing everything into my car and be gone.

Considering I live in a 2 man, 190 sq/ft barracks rooms, and lived in a 4 man, 160 sq/ft fuckin connex downrange, I can honestly say that I would LOVE living in some spacious house like that.

  • spacemonkey

Are those operable cabinets above the work surface? If not, that is a lot of wasted space, right there.

  • etcrr

I like it though I don't think I could afford it

    • jes thinkin

What if you sold your double wide?

  • Matt

    Love it it's amazing

  • Meh

Is there any other way to live in a 500 sq. ft. apartment than cozily?

  • drbman

#5 welcome to my place girls, who's up for a little 3some!

  • BuckersAZ

This would be a pretty fun thing to design and build. I'd live there.

  • David Connell

    There's no room for activities!

  • Bryan_W

I would live here for sure if I had the money

  • donald

    I'd live in one

  • bkfrijoles

the rent would be outrageous but i like it

  • Choad

Nothing completes a shower like a blowjob bench! Well done!

  • Bhyo

#6 hate to see what happens when you forget to close a drawer

    • mrjimmyos

They should operate on springs, although a spring could break too

    • mrjimmyos

Ooh, did just get an idea though, they could open out from the side!

  • jeff donuts

and i bet the rent is like 4000$ cuz its "hip" and "modern"

  • Simon

That looks far too tidy for me. Give it a couple of months and there'll be crap everywhere. Plus – how the hell are you going to break wind without everyone else in the building knowing about it (or do anything for that matter).

  • Christian

Were do they eat their food?

  • daveh873

#3 It took me a while to figure out that there's a mirror between the windows. I was staring at it wondering why there were stairs on top of the counter, and how they hid a bed behind the windows. Duh.

  • Scøtt Bartlett

Really curious if anyone has an actual figure on the cost of rent or purchase .. *LOVE* the idea, but suspect it still costs the same price of a mansion most places in North America *8)

  • electric boogalo

Yeah, in NYC this place is only $750,000.
