#18 Want it! With a poker table please!

    • wdh

That would be cooler if it was an actual moat and the house had a draw bridge.
      And isn't #12 ferris bueller's garage?

  • Chicago Sean

#23 That building in the background got shopped/chopped.

    • Martin

Looks like the Shell building in Waterloo, London – possibly from the South Bank Centre? Agree it's chopped though.

    • Static

its chopped and copied and chopped lol
look at the word Gallery… its clipped off… etc too bad, id like to see the real pic! i bet that pool is not on a roof at all

    • Colin

you think they would have been smart enough to use a different building instead of cutting and coping the same building three times

  • wandy

    18 looks amazing

    • Underbaker

Wandy if you put the number symbol with the number it will appear in your post. Like this #18

  • dashete

So hard to single one out. Most awesome architecture post I've seen on the Chive yet.

  • @BradDuncan31

It has become abundantly clear that I don't have nearly enough money. The KCCO is strong with these pads…

  • DhamaBum

#19 is Herzog & de Meuron's extension to the Tate modern in London, just FYI

  • FloppyRocks

#14 Come on… you thought of Myst… you know you did.

Hobbiton has gone down a bit as of late… not as brightly colored anymore.. this must be the Hobbit hood.

  • Patrondub

Love taking a good ole visit to Phuket ……..

  • Belrick

Too much photoshopping spoilt the whole post.

  • Chris Wisialowski

Ok #29 seems less like amazing architecture and more like a great way to fly head first into a window.

    • ATouchofInsanity

Exactly…I was wondering about that. Why put a slide that makes you crash into a window? Seems silly to me

  • hulksmash

i have just the right person for you…………. PAULAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

  • @rexsavage

#21 seems like a lot of effort would be needed to mow the lawn!

    • Panda

I think you'll find those two white fluffy things (and their friends) in the picture take all the effort out of it.

    • ATouchofInsanity

And that's why you have goats

  • DrewskiDrew

How dare you guys take pictures of my home when me and Adriana Lima are gone on vacation.

  • MonkeyMadness

    #21 The hills have eyes.

  • etcrr

#4 looks like a fish tank on a night stand

    • windowlicker

Thank you captain obvious. Now go away you jagoff.

  • Slade Garrison

#21 I could buy an entire mountain in central/south Texas and build something like this. Just need enough dynamite to blow through the limestone, but that's the fun of it.

    • Mitch

No man, no. Shit no. You get your ass kicked saying something like that around here.

  • Turrebo

#32 Designed to let you sign whatever the hell they want you to sign as quickly as possible, preferably without reading it first, so you can get the hell out of there before it goes down.

I bet they installed some device in the floor that lets the room tilt a few degrees downwards as well, along with the sound of metal under strain.

The largest unique club for people who don't really know what's considered tall.

    • Jumperforever1

are you a Lanister or something?

  • CoLNo1

    #21 Err.. Hobbiton?

    • Jeric

yes it is – left to rot after the film was made

      • AstroMikeDexter

Not left to rot at all. That's what they looked like after the first films were shot years ago. Now, after being rebuilt and painted etc for The Hobbit they are maintained by a pretty large team and are an awesome tourist attraction. They also look nothing like that pic anymore. The more you know!

  • greg

wow! there is some creative genius at work on some of them !

  • whos.mike

where is the front door on #11?
