After being Sold Out for nearly 3 months, the Military KCCO’s are back for the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. There are limited supplies on theCHIVERY so you gotta’ be quick.

You don’t need to be a memeber of our Armed Forces to purchase a shirt this time around but please don’t buy them just to put the fuckers on Ebay, our service men and women don’t deserve that.

Don't take it personal James, I have nothing but respect for ALL the armed services(including the Coast Guard). But take a look at the numbers, there are about 1.1 million fire fighters in the US(300,000 career and 800,000 volunteer). All branches of the armed services COMBINED are about 1.5 million, with the army being the largest at about 500,000. Cant the chivers in the 1.1 million deserve a chance to rep a fire kcco

Sorry Meg! The Coast Guard isn't a real branch, and they aren't appreciated by Thechive or most people for that matter. But thats okay cause they will be there when they are called upon no matter what.

The Coast Guard has been appreciated by the Chive a few times and it is a real branch! But i mean, if were not really military, I guess we can let all the drug runners through, that'll be good! Actually fuck it! Lets let all waterways go to shit or even better all the mariners in distress, were not going to go save them! We'll just leave them out to drown. Alaska… you wont even have to worry about drowning!! You'll hit hypothermia before you even know it. Just because we're the safest branch does not mean we arent the military. We go through the same boot camp, same rules, same ranking system. Its all the same.

I dont get how you can say they're not a branch yet you say they'll be there when they are called upon no matter what, which is correct. Are you for or against the Coast Guard?

I bought one for a friend and I, despite neither of us serving, and neither of us being American. Both of my grandfathers were in the RAF (one died in uniform). I bought mine because I'm never around when the green KCCO shirts are on sale (and I had like, 10 min left when I saw this sale).

Long story short, these shirts support the Chive, and the Chive supports the troops.

So, I get the whole supply and demand concept. I've seen that episode of south park. But, why don't you just keep a regular supply of these shirts. If they sell out in less that 3 hours, I think you can have an active sales market and promote your website even more. You could also quit complaining about ebay sellers.

Totally forgot about the sale. Took a Chive break at work, saw the post, gave God the angry fist-shake, clicked anyway. Timer was just about to hit zero. Tried for a large green, sold out. Tried for a large brown, went straight through.
