Tara McClure, one of our Tulsa Chivettes appeared in the DAR a couple weeks ago inviting Tulsa Chivers to visit her Facebook page. What she found was a lot of Chivers were looking for an excuse to get together in Tulsa so Tara decided to throw her own Chive meetup at The Hunt Club.

Tara told me, ” The place was at capacity all night, all the Chivers and Chivettes were incredible sweeties, it was a really great night.”

I received dozens of emails from Chivers after ‘LOST’ co-creator Damon Lindelof rocked theCHIVE’s New York/California on Kevin Smith’s ‘Spoilers’. Damon, who wrote Prometheus, is one of our OG Chivers, he’s been a Chiver since theCHIVE looked like a leprechaun threw up on a Russian mail-order bride.

If you’re one of the few who didn’t see Prometheus this weekend, it’s an amazing film and it scared me shitless, I highly recommend the experience. For everybody who wanted the shirt, NY/CAL is finally back right here (but not for long).

Say hello to Lindelof on his Twitter machine, he’s one of the most grounded guys in this crazy business, a really good dude.
