awesome find mac! i've still got goosebumbs

Unfortunately we don't know if it actually sounded any good, as a studio recording was very obviously put in during post-production. as someone who has busked, both solo violin and with a small group, getting a sound like that is impossible in open air and only really achievable in a concert hall or studio. Shame really.

Thank you Chive. I'm a professional musician in Chicago watching orchestras around the country go bankrupt every week. American orchestras are the most talented and competitive to join in the entire world, yet there seems to be the least support for classical music in this country. I was amazed reading through the comments that everyone was moved by the power of Beethoven. I was expecting at least a few people to show disinterest–this is the internet after all. How do we use this love to save American musicians that dedicate their lives to music like this?

For a brief few minutes people were united appreciating a spectacle. All difference options and ideologies were put aside. It started with a young girl.
