It's incredible that a lot of people really didn't get it! I didn't notice a thing, but then again I am really tired. I watched it over again and still didn't notice when they changed everything, even though I knew it would be changed. Like I said, I am tiiiiired. I liked it though.

Comeon Chivers, you can understand this! The trick wasn't about the cards at all. The idea was to make you focus on the cards so that when something changed, you wouldn't notice. It seems the video makers accomplished that feat…a little too well.

There are numerous psych studies out there that do this sort of thing and no one ever catches on. This isnt a magic trick, this is a spectacular example of how we ignore our surroundings because we cant multitask in certain situations. Quit bitching about the trick and instead realize how your brain didnt catch the rest of it.

I thought Chivers were a little smarter than this. The video isn't about the cards, but change blindness, look it up. It's essentially your brain's way for consolidating or forgetting about changes that can't be explained, because you didn't see them happen, so you don't have a break down. It's awesome, and goes much further than just changing shirts or tablecloths, you could've swapped the magician or woman and people wouldn't have noticed. You think you would, but studies done on change blindness say you wouldn't.
