Bruce Campbell (Not the bad ass Ash from the Evil Dead movies, sadly) is an electrical engineer who had a dream of creating an entire subdivision of retired airplanes, and he started with his own airplane house first. He purchased this retired Boeing 727 for $100,000 that now sits on a portion of his ten-acre lot in Portland, Oregon. Campbell lives and works in the 40 m (130 ft.) long by 4 m (13 ft.) wide apartment inside the plane. It seems a little tight if you ask me but whatever makes you happy, I guess .
