: Tatyana Rybakova had struggled with her own weight since the age of 14. She had tried a myriad of diets including eating food containing no carbohydrates, and one time she tried only eating apples and yogurt. She weighed 230 lbs and was unhappy with her own body image….

: She learned about a balanced nutrition and created a new diet based on the glycemic index of products. The diet that consisted mostly of food rich in proteins contained all the essential nutrients, but didn’t lead to obesity. Tatyana also started to exercise and swim regularly.

: Eventually Tatyana lost the incredible 51 kg (112 lbs) in just a couple of years and is very happy with the way she looks now.

I'm tempted to say she went too far, but you know what's really sexy on a girl? Confidence. As long as she feels happy with her body NOW that's great. If she keeps trying to lose and maintains that negative body image… then there could be trouble.

seriously though, kudoes to this woman for taking her life in her hands and working at changing herself, but the thing i think of and the thing that troubles me the most is how our self-image is largely influenced by the prejudices of other people. why is that over weight people or contemplative people are almost regarded as sub-human and shunned? i'm willing to bet that this young lady went through alot of teasing through the years…that shit stays with a person…and i'm hoping that this young lady honors the overweight girl that she was and remembers where she came from. people like that have a humility about them and there is nothing more attractive than a beautiful person with humility.
