Earlier today we brought you the story of Farrah, an innocent girl badly injured in the Aurora, CO shootings. I asked the Chivers to donate to Farrah until we reached the $100,000 goal.

We hit the goal in an hour and a half flat.

But in true Chive fashion, y’all were just clearing your throats. We’ve now raised $130,000!!! Unfreaking believable. You should all be very proud of yourselves today. When somebody needed our help the most, you stepped the plate and put it in the upper deck. Well done.

I know right, what about the families of the victims that died, I bet they could use some help paying for burying their family members.

How about that quad-amputee they helped out, I think they said he was the fifth such amputee as a result of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, they bought the guy a fucking cabin. I wonder how great the four quad-amputees that came before him are doing.

I think chivers have their hearts in the right place, but it's poorly executed.
