I’ve seen plenty of 3D printing videos that are pretty amazing, but so far it’s just seemed like a really cool, really expensive toy. But this… this is why I love technology.

  • DocDelicious

    Good for her.
But uh…wtf is with all the sob stories lately?
I liked theChive better when it was just tits, ass, random shit and I didn't have to worry about feeling like an awful human being or having my heart ripped out of my chest by injured puppies.

    • MohawkJon

Ummm…. Yyyeeeaaa I'm going to need you to come in on Saturday for a sexual harassment class… That would be ggrreeaatt.
Oh and if you didn't want to watch the vid you could have skipped it. Everything evolves including the CHIVE

      • Josh

Right on Mohawk, I hope theCHIVE editors don't listen to idiot statements like those of Jared's. One of my favorite parts of theCHIVE is how often they show the beauty and love our world and it's creatures have in it..I still remember the video of the autistic boy dancing to the street artist, and it changing my day!!

        • stillJosh

er, not Jared, sorry–Docdelicous had the dumb statement.

    • Jared

Just be glad you get small reminders that your still Human, seems like you need them.

Plenty of internet porn if tits and ass are all your looking for.

Again, this is why the Chive rocks! Thank you for the beautiful story!

Wonder if people with muscular disorders also would have use of that system. I have a daughter with Dystrophia musculorum congenita Merosine Negative, and she is having trouble lifting her arms as well.
    Hope technology wins here!

  • ancientlegacy

So much dust in here, oh god it's in my eyes!

It's amazing what technology can do for us, what advancements are possible and not even discovered yet.
allowing people to use their arms, to walk again, to hear for the first time.

So if this is already the Mark II, and she's only 2 years old…she should have the full Iron Man suit by the time she's Stark's age, right?

  • patov40

    Hooray science!! :D

  • Original.

a little dust in my eye
    cutting onions
    2×4 in my eye
    faith in humanity restored

I get it. I am touched as well. But I can just come out and say "that was touching and I feel a bit emotional now". I expressed my feelings without having to say some overused quote. Don't want to be a dick, but it does start to get lame after a while. Be original?

  • MSM

a swarm of gnats are in my eye…

  • misschris

That is really incredible. Little Emma is a real trooper! Science is awesome.
