This is really cool. I'm a big Floyd fan and I've never ever seen these. Nice post.

You need to watch it on your favorite hallucination.

  • slimm

is it bad that for every pic, the song for that part in the movie plays in my head?

  • Verbal_Kint

#4 those masks were fucking creepy. Gotta watch this again… Great flick.

What a classic. The music is bad ass, and the movie just makes it better. Full version is available on youtube, if you so desire…

  • neXx

    – so good. classic.

So ya thought ya might like to go to the show? Love the music, the show/movie still creeps me out! #8

  • Bamaearl

This movie depresses the hell out of me but I love how powerful the imagery is. These stills are great Thanks Chive

  • back2worknow

One of the greatest movies ever. I have to agree with ED that the B&W's make some of the scenes even creepier.

  • Mike l.

My favorite site posting about my favorite band. Thank you chive for making this monday not suck.

Bob Geldof was perfect as Pinkerton. #3

  • Deep Dish

I love the Floyd, but The Wall is definitely my least favorite of their hit albums. Just knowing what a self-righteous prick Waters is and how he always talks about Gilmour and Wright like they didn't do anything makes me appreciate it that much less.

    • tubgirlisurmom

The Floyd was better upon his departure/firing. I catch a lot of shit for saying that. Oh well.

      • Deep Dish

So in your opinion, Momentary Lapse of Reason and Division Bell are better than Dark Side and Wish You Were Here?

Waters is a prick, but he was a genius.

        • The Pict

Is a genius. He's still milking The Wall close to 35 years after release. Epic win for him.

    • thrillho

      Animals. That is all.

      • The Pict

Meddle, where the anger starts to show.

#15 Bob Geldorf was great. Saw this in Dublin years ago with a little bit o' hash. Wow – scared and depressed the Bejesus out of me. Come to think of it, most Floyd stuff is depressing and hopeless. They should cheer the fuck up.

  • iceman

#14 hello, is there anybody in there?

    • nuccabay

      haha i can totally concur

  • Gangsterwayne

Great post. Makes me want to watch it again.

  • thrillho

Geldof! They couldn't have found a better actor to play Pink. The animation of Gerald Scarfe is also one of the best parts of that film (besides the music, of course!)

Great post, Chive. PF is my all-time fav band!
