The guy as a big vehicle but a small penis… oh and also it's green, but not like environmental green, more like "how did you get grass stains there??" green. Which is ironic because he's driving on a paved road. Also the person taking the picture is tailgating to try and get a clear shot, which is going to piss off the redneck with the tiny green penis and he will in turn have a clear shot at the tailgater (with his gun not camera (he's a redneck remember). So the irony is that some hipster wanted a good shot of a humourous bumper sticker so he drove directly up the ass some asshole redneck, who is pissed off because of his small green pecker, which allowed the redneck to have a good shot at the hipster tailgater, who's blood flowed red, proving that the redneck is not quite ready to "go green"

Ah…I thought it was because the rear lights have those nifty little and somewhat redundant collision protectors on them, being as the spare tyre would protect the lights if he were rear ended. But I guess not. I guess it's the sticker…though I couldn't read what it said.

Some of them are, irony in the common definition (not necessarily the true definition) is the opposite of what's expected. Even in the common, internet definition of irony, a police officer ordering doughnuts isn't ironic, it's just funny.

I might be wrong, but that looks to me to be a Ford Escape. If it is, then it really isn't odd. At least in my city, I see more of those than any other vehicle. Especially the white and silver Escapes.
