ya, burning man is terrible, hot, dirty, smelly, and full of old harry lesbians.. and hippies.. and outbreaks of syphilis.. and the bubonic plague. for your own dignity and safety you probably shouldn't go.

Looks like they're having a great time, and they're not hurting me or anybody else. They're self-sustaining for the duration, and they clean up after themselves too? Sounds great. Don't think I'll make any assumptions about their jobs, hygiene, or politics since I haven't met and spoken to every one of them.

I don't like this post. If you haven't been, pictures don't do it justice. it is about experience. and you either need to go or get it off the internet. because that is not what it is about. It is the opposite of over commercialization, and having it plastered all over the internet is going to deteriorate the whole experience. I know the Chive community is the best out there, but come on. is nothing left to experience any longer?
