For non DJs asking how he could do that without knowing….

After you DJ awhile you know exactly which song you want to go to, and already have "hot cues" set up. Hot cues meaning a set point in a song where the moment you hit play it starts at that specific point.

If it's the same tempo, there is no need to beat match. All you need to do is change over from one channel to the other. Only way for that prank to work is if his friend he was pointing at is also a DJ and knows how to set hot cues, and change the title of the track.

What's blowing my mind is why a guy with CDJ 2000s is DJing a shitty house party. Those puppies are $2k each.
