That's a 2002 Nissan Maxima, a middle eastern edition.
if you noticed the bottom line on the plates it says KUWAIT. I've seen that car around when I was back there. caused a fuss in the racers community because the dude actually believed that his car was a BMW haha.
if he had only traded in this Nissan and the money he spent on it he might have been able to afford an actual beemer.

I've got to say I'm impressed, never met anyone that could tell if a car was fwd, rwd, our awd without knowing what kind of car it is.

Look at how the engine sits in the engine bay, that will tell you FWD vs RWD. Typically FWD are mounted transversely in the bay, as this engine is.

Car isn't a 5 series, rear end is wrong as is the engine.

You can also look at the distance between the front wheel arch and the front door. A FWD will almost always have only a couple inches in between. A RWD will have 6" to a foot (or more) between the wheel arch and the door.
