I want so much a cat but I feel so sorry for him just for thinking how many hours(8 hours) he is going to stay at home alone ( any advises?? They can stay alone or is better to get 2? And if I want to have a kitty? So many questions…love #2 #9 and #17 just melt my heart

that's why many people prefer cats. they are pretty self-sufficiant. just make sure there is food, water and a clean litter box (cleanish in my case right now) and they could give a shit if you're home or not most of the time.
