This is an awesome story! Its so cool he got to be home to surprise his brother. I missed my own brothers wedding because I was deployed on a submarine, so I had to wait nearly 3 weeks after before I could even call.

And I hope family man Chivers paid close attention to the beginning. Dad passed on and Mom and kids slept on the floor with blankets and candles. If you have kids, you need to man up and plan ahead to provide for them in case the worst happens to you.
