#15 Look at all these fucks I give

    • Dex

…and I read it in Alvin's voice. Damn it.

    • crow

  • Noah

    #12 R.I.P. Real age Scooby

    • torontobackgroundgirl

#12 I actually met the woman who voiced Daphne, she was around 70.

  • Manuel Amaya

Me too JJJ. Still interesting I guess. Anyone hear that story about the Rugrats all being a figment of Angelica's imagination?

    • Shawn

      • hi_steaks

        don't do it, it's horrible.

        • sad_day

like… child hood destroying horrible… tommy died at birth or something, yada yada, it all explains how all the rugrats were cousins or family or neighbors who had died in her life, and she fantasizes all the episodes…

          • Childhood_ruined

The babies in Rugrats don't exist and are products of Angelica's imagination because her mother ignores her and her relationship with her father is shallow and parasitic. In reality, Chuckie died along with his mother, which is why Chaz is such a nervous wreck. Tommy was a stillborn, which causes Stu to sit in the basement making toys for his son that never had a chance to live, and the DeVilles had an abortion. Angelica couldn't decide whether the unborn child would be male or female and thus simply invented the same character in her head twice with different genders.

            • Canadienne

Mind=Blown. I had no idea! Clearly didn't pick up on this as a child lol

              • jawbone

She imagines it due to the repeated anal penetration forced upon her.

  • Lint6

There was really that little time between Inspector Gadget and Tiny Toons? I never realized..

  • Lint6…this makes no sense. According to Wikipedia Tiny Toones premiered in 1990…and I know I was older then 1 when Daria premiered…alot of these are flat out wrong

    • Bootsy McGee

      it ran from 1983 – 1986

      • Bootsy McGee

        i ment gadget… duh

    • Gustopher

It's not when the show premiered – it's based on the age of the character when the show premiered…

      • 10thletter

yeah they used math to figure these out. you should try it

    • Steve

Yes. Several of these are wrong. Nice try, Chive.

    • Spelling Police

*than – and their is no such word as "alot." Stay in school.

      • Reality

    • red4

So you think every last character was a newborn baby at the start of each show?
The TMNT were created as teenagers in the mid 80s. You start counting from anywhere between 13 and 19, NOT 0.

  • JJJ

Oh, I had hoped that someone had drawn comic adaptations of their 'current' age….

    • Chazz_B

    • Notknowing

Wait no longer. Watch reruns of Robot Chicken to get a skewed version of some of these. Enjoy with pot.

  • Tiber_Septim

My Hero Bugs Bunny would be 74 R.I.P Mel Blanc

  • Jaded

#19 – Burt Ward, the guy who played Robin on TV in the 1960s, turned 67 this year.
At the time he was on television, he was pretty much the age of the character he was playing… so no, the TV Robin would not be 85 years old.

    • Justine Cider

I think they are based on when the character in general was created.

    • OptimalOrangatan

I think they're calculating based on the characters age when it was created to the present day.

    • Jaded

I thought of that after the fact – I just assumed since they used the TV photo……

    • MonkeyMadness

      Are you fucking retarded?

      • Bane

I know the Batman first appeared in Detective Comics in 1939, thats 84 years ago. How old was batman supposed to be then? That dude is at least 105

  • suck me dry

suck me all the way off

    • SMD?

Yeahhhhh! What's up buddy? Keep up the good work.

    • whale hntr

im glad you keep posting, i laugh everytime, i often use your phrases on my gf, much to her dismay, but sometimes i have to use my sexy voice to get what i want with your phrases

  • Emma R

The sad part is that you don't know who Arnold is 😦

  • boobman

no matter how accurate these are I still feel fucking old.

    • McSmizzle

This is when cartoons were actually good. I'm 26 and I'll bet a lot of people on this site don't know what half of those are… they should have throw in some GI Joe's and some other classics too.

  • The Guy

#1 came out in 1988 and #3 came out in the 1980's as well so those ages are wrong ( thanks for making me feel like a set of old balls though)

    • Dr_StrangePants

      Bart's always 10 years old.
      So starting from 1988 + 10 more years = 34
      …close enough

    • Google

These are right since TMNT came out in 84 and Simpsons first appeared in 87

      • chucklesclown

        Google is correct.

    • Bane

I am the biggest TMNT comic guy ever. That issue is from the new revamp (2012), but No. 1 was back in 84 if I'm not mistaken (I wasn't alive until 87). 2013 – 1984 = 29. 15 years old + 29 = 44. If you guys never got into the comics, the new revamp is REALLY good. The artwork is amazing. If you want to check out their older stuff, check out the Image series. They're black and white and raw. Raph teams up with the foot, and their weapons are actually used to stab and slice people. Haha, and at one point, Donatello falls off a building and breaks everything in his body, so they put this Cyborg suit on him. He's a boss.

  • Takingbackcider

#4 Still friend zoned I wonder?

    • Funny name

      Patty Mayonaise lol

    • chucklesclown

I imagine. Hopefully he found a way to become chief forest ranger or an artist like he wanted. I'm sure Skeeter is Bluffington's head astronaut by now. The Sleeches are probably billionaires after launching the social networking site Beetbook several years ago.

  • Crushbent

Is #10 where nicki minaj derived her look from?

  • Alex

Is no one grasping the concept that they are calculating what the characters age was when they were created to now?? Since the Turtles were teenagers in the 80's….they would be in their 40's now. This makes perfect sense!!

    • 10thletter

apparently chivers are stupid at simple shit like this

      • Woop

agreed. been driving me insane reading these comments until you posted some sense. Apparently people only can think only in relation to when they first saw these characters.

    • MonkeyMadness

Apparently math is hard for the stupider people and do not grasp the concept of the characters ages when the show started.

  • Deep Dish

#20 I would love to see them revive Daria like they did Beavis and Butthead. Seeing her in today's working world would be incredible.

    • loves sammiches

      Diarrhea…cha cha cha…Diarrhea…cha cha cha

    • John Bocanegra

      That is happening, actually..

  • Joel

I'm about to be the same age as Hey Arnold. Turning 25 is a lot less depressing now.

  • Daith_Lee

How do you know all the others but NOT know who Arnold is?

  • flee

    Bart is 33

    # 1

    • Slappy_McGee

No. Bart is a 10 year old. He first appeared on the Tracy Ullman show in 1987. That would make him 35.

  • OK Chiver

Thanks Chive for making me feel older than I already am, need a spectacular Hump Day to lift my spirits

  • Dr_StrangePants

    Perfect Gallery for this

    • MarcusGeorge

      Well played!

    • Billy Quizboy

      Go team Venture!

  • Dr_StrangePants

You know JEM??? But not a Nickelodeon character?
Could I assume you didn't grow up in the US during the 90s?

  • gnocco
because you're all of 17y/o, you know 80's cartoons and not ones from the year you were born..?

  • Rurik

I would totally watch a new show with Daria at age 30

    • KCO617

Could we call it "Cynics Delight"?

  • dorn

No Southpark? They've been in 4th grade for 16 seasons!

    • Dr_StrangePants

damn…those boys should be in their mid-20s by now

    • Jaynugg

Some seasons were 3rd grade. 😀
