Damn you Mongolians!! You tearing down my wall!!!
Chivettes are whores.
The jealousy is strong in this one…
Poor attempt to troll is poor.
You know who says Chivettes are whores??……..A whore.
Wow…bitter because you couldn't make the cut?
I like Kristen.
I wish I had more hands so I could give this post four thumbs down!
odd that you'd post this on a category where chivettes are not even featured.
#20 What could possibly be so interesting at that one point on the wall?
Some shuttle buses take tourists from Beijing to the closest section of the WALL that's in good enough shape.
Most of the tourists will go up for 2 hours to the highest point in that section, then walk back down to catch the shuttle bus back to town.
I didn't know all of this until I asked my chinese friends about how crowded our day was during dinner. Also, if you the chance to go see the wall…beg your friends NOT TO TAKE YOU THERE ON SATURDAY
Keep tearing down my CHITY WALL!
#26 I learned more from An Idiot Abroad. Carl is hilarious.
#15 Camping on the Great Wall looks intense.
Oh, I get in tents
The line outside the bar at The Chive's last meetup in Mongolia.
#20 no thanks.
#32 AAAhAA! Macarena !
An amazing feat of architecture for its day. I would love to go experience it
Why would that be an amazing feat of archtecture? It is a really big wall. They didn't have to account for atmospheric pressure or geometrically line anything up with the sun at noon of the summer solstice. They just had a lot of people work a lot. Impressive, yes, architecturally impressive, no.
Get back to us after you build a wall over 5,000 miles long.
You absolutely should! I've been , and it was unspeakably incredible!
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
<img src="http://www.newautoquote.us/hotel/fy.jpg"/> #28 #20 Too much of the Chinese population,
As in like sardines<img src="http://www.newautoquote.us/aquarius/rumy.jpg"/>
built by slaves..just say'n
You have a problem with free labor?
except that it wasn't, it was built by farmers (although they were being forced to) and paid laborers.
slave labor gets shit done
#30 How YOU doin'?
find her…(somewhere in Chia)
Is that a new country/city?
Eventually, the great Mall of China will be bigger.
I am gonna get bashed for saying this. But that was just a huge waste of time wasnt it. Did it really keep people out? You have to be bat shit insane to come up with a wall like that thinking it will keep people out? Im looking at you USA
The US need a wall like this across the Mexican border.
Wow, talk about missing the point.
It kept people in.
So no credit for ripping off The Atlantic gallery from yesterday? http://www.theatlantic.com/infocus/2012/10/the-gr…
Wow that's pretty bad. I got no problem with them grabbing stuff off of reddit and posting with no credit, but credit should have been given for this.
And the one photo they didn't take from that article that should of been the first one to take is the love boat crew on the wall.
#4 double bonus experience! see the great wall and then compete on it. genius. add that on my to do list.
I love how this was posted after the fat guy trying to be Asian.
why can't they make and electronic device that lasts that long?
Because you'd never have to replace it.
Thank you for enlightening him. The japanese made stuff that lasts. Look at them now.
damn you mongorians… you try to break mah sheedy waarrr
sounds more piratey than asian. Y U Break Mai Wall U stupid plicks.
Looking at #33 it seems it would be quite easy to just swim / sail around the wall or were boats not invented yet?
It would be bitch if you had a bunch of battle-gear, i guess
the wall was built to keep the invading mongolians out, who actually didn't have the technology to build ships, it wasn't until the mongolian conqeust that they learned how to build ships!
So a couple of swimming assassins are out of the questions or did Mongolians only learn how to swim after learning how to build boats?
haha! that's a good question! well, seeing that the mongolians originated from dry stepps, i doubt that they could swim, but we may never truely know.
If it were that easy, why would you walk the entire wall to the sea? Why not just get some rope or a ladder? I think, though not sure, that they had sentinals on the wall to watch for that.
I'be been to China and have walked on this magnificent wall, it is an experience unlike any other and has irrevocably changed my life. Any one who wants to go….DO IT! It's truly incredible!
