  • B Dub

Un.friggin.believable…. Amazing racers…balls of brass for sure.

  • jay

Cheese and rice that's rapid !!

  • myself

Road racing is the best. The balls it takes to do it on a bike.

  • Loran

The Ulster GP is held at the Dundrod Circuit in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
    Not the Isle of Man.

    • John

I was gonna say the same thing, this dude's probably thinking of the Isle of Man TT

    • AnyoneForCoffee

Yeah, the clue is in the name….

    • Mat Pooney

well played I was going to say something when I saw the Dunluce Castle

    • Josh

Good call. I was wondering if they had gone away from the staggered starts.

  • IrishWolfhound

Gotta love a good Road Race.

  • SuperMario

The TT and the Southern 100 are on the IOM, the ULSTER GP is (surprise!) in ULSTER (NI)!

  • Procained

Going so fast they're jumping those damn things in videos i've seen! Crazy!

  • danny

thats the northwest 200 in northern ireland not the isle of man or ulster gp http://www.northwest200.org/

    • SuperMario

1:49 Deers Leap, 2:56 Lindsay Hairpin — that's definitely the Ulster GP! (A few high speed clips might be from the NW 200, but I doubt it)

      • og667

It's mostly Ulster but some NW200 0.16s is the NW200 start line and the crash at 2.00s is NW200 (Conner Cummins i think)

        • SuperMario

Sorry, didn't pay attention to this, but you're absolutely right! 2:00 is Conor Cummings getting hit by the Padgetts bike at the NW200 this year

          • Craig Parker

Let's just agree that Ulster racing is awesome and Aldergrove should re-named after Joey Dunlop

  • IrishWolfhound

It's funny watching them blast through the SLOW sign at 00:38 lol.

  • Tiber_Septim

win or die trying looks like

  • Dano

    What does that song??

    • jarbinson

Chase and Status – Blind Faith (Ft. Liam Bailey). If you ever get a chance to see them live do it. Amazing.

  • ARymell

    Good video…. however….
The Ulster GP and The Isle Of Man TT are two different races in two different countries…. The Ulster GP is in Ulster (Northern Ireland) and the Isle Of Man TT takes place on the Isle Of Man, a small island between Ireland and the UK mainland. The footage shown is from a full on road race, so I am guessing is the Ulster GP as the IOM TT is a time race, so riders start at timed intervals and rarely group…

    Good video mind!

  • Aaron

Chive, Why can't I watch videos on the Chive? Just a black screen everytime. I live in Europe so I am sure thats part of the reason but when the videos like this one are actually from Europe it seems a bit unreasonable… Also if its a copyright issue or similar, why can i watch those beer adverts before some of the videos;)

    • LiT

bullshit i'm from europe and I can watch them update your adobe flash player or try another browser

      • twoedges

        He's right… update your browser

        • Craig Parker

Get Firefox and try this if updating doesn't work http://cynicsunlimited.com/2010/03/28/using-firef
It's the only thing worth having Firefox for. That and dragging your cover photo to the right position on Facebook which Chrome seems to have no interest in letting you do.

    Great race action. Shitty music.

Oh boy – its the yanks and their made up maps again……Isle of Man hold the Isle of Man TT – Though in fairness both races are stunning to watch an i would recommend all petrol heads to at least see one of them!!!! Now CHIVE – in the Throttle you have a motorcycle section – put some stuff in about it!!!!!!!!!!! Joey would be proud!!

An easy mistake to make if you've never been there. All we know is there's this crazy race in the UK that runs on a two-lane road through farms and fields and ancient villages and over curbs and alongside stone walls. I knew about IOM TT, but hadn't heard of this Ulster business. There's nothing like this in the US, it's all on closed tracks with safety and grand-stands and walls and barriers and run-offs and the like. If there's a grand prix style road race, a la Monaco, (I can't think of any for motorcycles) they've closed everything off for blocks around so no unticketed viewers can see it. It's a business, you know, and we must consider the shareholder value.

  • sean

these guys balls have so much mass that they have their own gravitational pull, which in turn attracts other balls as satellites

    • http://twitter.com/undefined @undefined

I believe their balls are made of neutron star material. (If you don't get it, google it.)

  • pimpampet

Im going there next time, only bikes alowed on the ferry's. It are a couple of crazy days with wicked racers. Its the place to be if you want to go fast!

  • http://twitter.com/undefined @undefined

Just added watching one of these races IRL to my bucket list.
