It’s a story very few people have actually heard. Tom Cruise was driving down Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica when he came across a hit-and-run victim lying facedown in the street with a broken leg. Tom pulled over and called 911.

When the ambulance arrived, Tom insisted on following the woman to the hospital. He even checked back in on her the next day and, after finding out she didn’t have insurance, Tom paid the woman’s $7,000 hospital bill.
