        • Whut's Return

Because you imply that helping another is somehow a uniquely American trait when we all know that's bullshit.

KCCO NYC + other Sandy survivors! My dad drove all the way down from Canada to help get the power back on! Hug or Thank a Power Lineman when you see them!

#22, this photo was taken by my friend who lives in Hoboken!

This whole post restores my faith in humanity! So glad so many people are willing to help complete strangers in times like these!!

  • Yak Surfer

Sandy made a real mess of LBI. A lot of good friends lost their homes. Thankfully, no one lost their lives. Can't wait to get back to the "new" Kubels, Too and get back to a new normal.

Pine is just fine in a bonfire…..and…… I think they are just being facetious…. a little dark humor to deal with the fact that they have a fucking tree on their house.

My town made it through Sandy relatively unscathed, but my heart goes out to everybody who lost their homes, or loved ones due to this storm. Battered but never beaten, stay strong everybody.

  • John

Always knew I had a reason to be proud of my home state- KCCO NJ!

  • Alicia

KCCO! Things like this definitely restore my faith in humanity. A lot of my family and friends in my home state of WV were hit with the snow storm portion of Sandy and still have no power either.

It's good to see people finally helping other people. We're all so worried about ourselves, nice to see that humans have some goodness in them.

  • DaLee

Just got power 2 days ago! I lost my roof and my car but other than that I am doing quite well. I am very thankful to be able to walk away from something like this. I am fortunate to have what I have. People keep telling me, I'm sorry but look at this way…, I'm alive and my whole family and I stuck together! 🙂 Thank you to everyone for your support! You have all been a great inspiration.

    New Jersey Chivette!
