    • Patrick

Cool story bro. Tell it again

  • janco

So we finally put a tree in prison huh?

  • G1880

The irony of a tree walk made by nature lovers…who have cut down a million trees to make a walkway that you can walk through the trees on…

Still ace though, fuck you nature.

    • whiskaleafa

I was thinking that, those three trees watching their friends get murdered so people could walk on them just to see these trees

      • Patrick

He just said that. Thank you captain obvious

    • brutalderp

I scrolled down to check to see if anyone made that comment

  • whiskaleafa

So beautiful, I would love to see it 🙂

  • DoubleNickelJP

It's about time trees did something, instead of standing around like a bunch of jerks.

  • Dank_Donkerson

isnt this kinda like what hitler did with all those dead jews piled up like walls for the US invations troops when they found the camps?

  • spazzout

Is it just me to see this as akin to building a prison out of human body parts? Its a cage made of wood!

  • Hamish

the elevated walkway that spirals around the tree… do you think the tree is thinking… he is that Fred and Steve? what the fuck happened to them?

  • huh?

    Who pays/paid for that shit!

  • misschris

Lovely! But it seems that after a while it becomes a bit repetitive… I mean, it's a tree..

  • andulamb

Boy is that dumb. That walkway in #4 seems like a much better way to view the trees from up high. By the time a person winds around and around and around those three trees, they're going to be pretty sick of them. "Ooh, the view of these trees from 50 feet up is so much more spectacular than the view of them from 40 feet up. Golly, I wonder what they look like from 60 feet up?" And then there's this: that by encasing those three trees in a cocoon of wood, you've essentially destroyed whatever scenic qualities they had. You might as well just sit on your couch and stare at a bare Christmas tree. Woohoo.

    • Just sayin'

Couldn't agree more. That is one fuckin retarded idea. After all that disturbance it won't be long before its a pathway around a few dead snags…

      • andulamb

And it's not like you're going to see any wildlife among those three trees. All that effort and waste of wood so idiots can stare at three essentially-lifeless trees. But… the first person in a wheelchair who manages to get to the top is going to have one helluva ride to the bottom.

    • the credible hulk

Or…you could look outward for a one-of-a-kind view.

  • thenomadadventures

#1 – doesn't look like that one tree's got too far to grow till it's at the top – then there will just be another tree-genocide to build a larger tree cage…..not that I'm complaining…

  • thenomadadventures

    #15 #18 – how awesome would that look as a giant campfire…..just add a little lighter fluid….

  • CallMeMaybe

#1 It's all made of wood. Is this some sort of tree torture?

  • JustTrollin

Please tell me you get back down via a giant slide!!!!

  • Parkview

#18 so how meany trees did they cut down to build this

  • CanucksRule

#15 – germans really love their trees.

  • Donkey Punch

    It's a short trip up for #9…#10

  • chron247

#1 Only 5000 trees were cut down to build this beautiful walkway to show off the beauty of trees.

  • whale hntr

^ whoa, you really escalated this…… comparing dead jews to trees

  • ChristophersonofGray

Bavarian Elves borrowed the idea from Wood Elves.
