I'm pretty sure my Civic is faster. I lowered it by 3 inches and got an aftermarkey spoiler at Wal-Mart and some Stickers from a car show. That all adds like two thousand horsepowers.

Don't know why you got thumbed down. Even in auto shop it was taught that your starter is a motor because it is powered by electricity and your car is powered by an engine because it uses fuel.

That may be the dictionary definition, but it is not right. thats like calling a window motor a window engine. In mechanics terms they are NOT interchangeable.

while the definition you put up may be dictionary standard, if you a mechanic it is not correct. On any vehicle there are several electric motors which fit the above description (starter, windows, locks) But there is only one engine and it is internal combustion. the prius has several motors my 67 chevy does not.
