Uhm… None of these are real… All photoshopped…

      • Sauk Fox

  • poop sausage

    "stunning visual masterpiece"? ummm….ok.

    • kcford

Herbert Bayer did this before computers existed.

  • poster child

    good stuff

  • Tillman61

    #15 is freaking amazing.

    • Craigery

The only amazing thing about it is that someone would be impressed by it.

      • Tillman61

I didn't say he was the best or a genius. It was a good idea well executed. He's good at shadowing, blending and color correction. Is it the greatest Photoshop I've ever seen? No.

There's a lot of critics on here. Do you all push pixels in PS or Gimp? Where's your work to compare it to?

  • Duber

Genius is thrown around too liberally these days.

    • RooFeeOOO

Some are pretty good but a few of them look like my kid brother did them in 10 mins.

    • Chris

Much of Mac's content comes from reddit's front page. with just an altered title. I mean i guess its an easy way to find good content. Just one of the many reasons I stop spending so much time chiving. Oh and they censor comments criticizing the Chive.

      • TommyD

Much of theChive's content comes from reddit's front page. Not just Mac's.

      • Craigery

Well in this case, the title should have been altered to "Martín De Pasquale is a creative dude with mediocre Photoshop skills".

      • KAFman

        Spends less time chiving

        Still comments on TheChive

    • Sciencerulez

You're right Duber I think a more appropriate word is WIZARD!!!!!!!!!!

  • TAG

This has a little surrealist mood to it. I wonder what an artist like Dali would have done with photo shop

    • Trotter1982

I imagine he would have called it "cheating."

      • Salvador Dali

        I see a rhinoceros

    • BobbaFett

      Paint brushes don't have a blur command….

  • Moogit

It would be kinda neat if my friends and I grabbed a couple beers and cameras and did that…but to label him a genius artist is a stretch.
    Cool though. I liked'em.

  • Craigery

I can tell they're photoshopped because of the pixels. 😉 Seriously, though, these aren't that good.

    • Tim

of course they're photoshopped! i can tell cause his face is a cake! agreed though, not all that great at all

  • Hrdwood

#31 Reminds me of an acid trip I took once…

  • MigraineBoy

    Very original!

This post screams "Chive Photoshop Contest".

    First prize is Bill Murray.

    • Daniel Tosh

how about first price is John's sisters

  • Mike Hunt

#7 Is that real life Bug's Life?

    • @LosSaysSwag

It's a Honey I Shrunk the Kids homage.

  • nope

congrats on your ability to cut and paste bro

  • Rick

    #19 #21 nice!

  • Steve

    These are average at best.

  • tv_paul

#22 Grab your board and come sidewalk surfin' with me..

    • Dr.

This was one of the weakest.

  • Rich

"We're losing ships, sir. What are your orders?"
"Increase speed, drop down and reverse direction! "

    • The_Dood

Did you know that the ships were supposed to keep a constant speed the entire game, but because of the lack of processing power in the early hardware that they were run on the game was bogged down by all of the ships on screen at the beginning? As you destroy the ships, it decreases the load on the processor allowing the remaining ships to move faster.
This concludes the trivial useless fact of the day.

    • Deep Dish

Quarters!!!! A million allowances worth of quarters!!!!

      • Deep Dish

Clearly someone isn't a fan of Futurama. How was this week's episode of Two and a Half Men?

  • Cain

I though #33 was clever and well done

  • NorCal420

    cool shops!

  • jokerz4fun

He does have talent but at the end of the day the software and technology does most of the hard work for him. Creative yes genius no.

  • Viktor

    Looks 'shopped.

  • Verbal_Kint

Interesting but not genius. Pretty basic techniques. I'd call him clever, creative, but not genius.

    • dave

      I agree.

Being good at something does not automatically make you a genius at something, and this person is definitely not a genius at this.
