In Taiyun, Shanxi Province, China, builders have decided to erect a skyscraper on the site of an old cemetery. The graves have been removed and the families compensated for this disruption however, there is one family who disagrees with the decision to build a house on a grave site and have refused to move the grave. Negotiations are still in process and the developers are willing to pay as much as $160 000 in compensation in order to build on the land. The strange building site comes just one week after Chinese duck farmer Luo Baogen took a $40,000 payout to finally demolish his house which had been surrounded by a highway.
