That isn't very deep, won't protect against a nuclear blast or some determined zombies.

So, what about supplies? You can see the tube from end to end, and it has less storage space than my apartment. If you're to the point where you need to go into the bunker and seal yourself in, you're planning on staying awhile, and even six months worth of supplies takes up several hundred square feet. They'd need to bury an additional tube alongside of it just to hold supplies if they want it to be at all realistic.

This guy doesn't believe the end of the world is coming. He just needed a reason to build this that his wife wouldn't shoot down. He may be the smartest man alive.
