Hoisting an escalator to the 101st floor of 1 WTC is no small feat : theCHIVE

: On December 12, 2012, ThyssenKrupp Elevator team members hoisted an escalator using a rooftop crane to the 101st floor of the One World Trade Center. This is one of 11 escalators and 74 elevators being installed on the project which will include the fastest elevators in the western hemisphere. At the time of its completion in 2013, One World Trade Center will be the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere and the third-tallest building in the world by pinnacle height, with its spire reaching a symbolic 1,776 feet in reference to the year of American independence. 1 WTC has been the tallest building in New York City since April 30, 2012.

9 years to complete ONE world trade… Both of the original towers were built and dedicated in 5 years. The Hoover dam was built in the middle of nowhere in 5 years. The failure of government bureaucracy is in full view, yet no one even recognizes it anymore. Merica used to be a juggernaut , now we drown in rules, red tape and rules made by politicians who have never accomplished a thing in their lives.

P.S. I'm against all their stuff now considering they didn't make my their Sydney CIO 6 years ago…
