You're doing it right, dad.

I have no doubt that this was a completely selfless gift, given for the unconditional love a father has for his child.

But you just know when that kid is playing with his friends that guy is playing with that kick ass bed.

Is it functional? Integrate some of the controls into a space sim? That would be cool. By itself, I give it a week before underwear is hanging off the throttle stick.

So my guess is Dad works there and has access to all those switches, knobs, levers and buttons. It's still really cool but pic 2 would have us believe that this was built out of junk electronics he had laying around, which simply is not the case.

Oh, cut the bleeding heart crap, will ya? We've all got our switches, lights, and knobs to deal with, Striker. I mean, down here there are literally hundreds and thousands of blinking, beeping, and flashing lights, blinking and beeping and flashing – they're *flashing* and they're *beeping*. I can't stand it anymore! They're *blinking* and *beeping* and *flashing*! Why doesn't somebody pull the plug!

If that kid is like mine, 5 minutes after finishing it, the kid would be over in the corner playing with the boxes that it all came in or moved back to lego's….

Prediction: Son will get bored of this shit heap in about a week …

Its a passion like that which brings about the next generation of doers. This kid will probably grow from the really cool setup and become an astronaut or at least a scientist!
