Living in CA you definitely miss the amazing clouds – however living back in the Midwest I miss the sounds of the ocean and the climate!

Pfft. Go learn some high-school physics and learn about what happens at altitude to airplane exhaust trails. Or read contrailscience.com. All of the clouds seen in this gallery are clouds, it just happens that some of them are man-made… (and all of them are as harmless as any other cloud). Of the above, only #10 is manmade and is effectively cirrus cloud. #11 and #28 are altocumulus; and #22 is a Morning Glory cloud.
