How Counterfeit iPhones are dealt with in Russia (3 Photos)

A Chinese man was recently caught smuggling about $40,000 worth of fake iPhones into the Amur region of Russia. He had no documents to prove the iPhones were legally produced so the Russians (logically) bulldozed the phones. The Chinese smuggler was fined $65.

    In Soviet Russia…

    • Berty

I'm surprised the Russians didn't try to sell the phones themselves.

    • Mukumber

Hate to be the one to break this to you but iphone never did exist in Soviet Russia so this does not apply.

      • warmwoolenmittens

    • Kato

Don't quit your day job Danno. The information they told us is incomplete. Apparently, the Chinese man was thrown into a Soviet war prison. He's probably somebody else prison queen right now.
