As a pilot, this is not very funny. That guy almost crashed and could have lost his life. GET OFF THE RUNWAY!!! That is extra dangerous and extra not smart.

As a pilot, explain to me why the aircraft was approaching the runway at what was obviously full throttle?
It was a stunt, dangerous but still a stunt.

I wasn't there but it looks like he was either coming in to land and had to initiate a go around because there were people on the runway or doing a low pass as part of a maneuver. Either way, that is an airplane approved and used for aerobatics at an uncontrolled airport so he wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary. Maneuvers such as low passes and go arounds are part of the testing process for all pilots and knowing how to react quickly so close to rhe ground has saved many lives. Either way, the lesson to be learned is that runways are not for people. They are for airplanes.

Private runway, it was all staged and yes it's dangerous but it was all stunt riding. What the video doesn't show is the others doing motorcycle stunts as well as airplane stunts.

Is there any backstory to this video? I really want to know why some woman was filming a person riding an ATV on a runway. From the looks of the runway too it seems to be pretty big too, not just some small airport that is rarely used.

The back story is that these were some people I know performing stunts on a closed runway in TX, there is a longer video with several bikes and a stunt pilot. I believe they are all friends so its all staged stunting.
