Oscar was rescued from animal welfare in South Africa. Since then he wasted no time, he traveled the world with his owners and can be seen here visiting some great global landmarks. Sadly, Oscar was recently killed by a car in California.

how sad you have to rush to be first. Sorry your life is so pathetic
i hope you get run over by a car faggot
awe he is so damn cute! R.I.P
WHY DOES HE HAVE TO HAVE DIED?? ):
To paraphrase William Wallace "Every animal dies, but not every animal truly lives." Oscar had a great life it appears
God damn Californians strike again
gorski! bad news ahead…..every living thing dies! your mom, dad, brothers, sisters, grandparents, sometimes even our own children before us. now the good news you're alive now and can do anything you want with this new found knowledge of life and death. My advice keep calm and chive on
I am so impressed with this dog, one question how did they manage to get the dog into all those countries without having to quarantine….
Lots of money probably.
Wondering the same thing. I know New Zealand is like 2 months or something…… they had to have a way around.
It's highly dependent on the place you're flying to. Some (like the UK and Hawaii) have very strict requirements because they have zero cases of rabies and aim to keep it that way. Others, like Peru and France, just require a fair amount of paperwork to certify that the animal is healthy and up to date on shots. No bribery needed, but it can get pretty expensive to make sure they have all the certifications/customs forms necessary.
Don't mourn him, celebrate him, the dog had it all, I wish I could have gone to all the places he did
I may not have been to all the places the dog has, but I didn't get hit by a car either, so I'm good.
This little buddy traveled more than I did so far. Rip Oscar
I think #21 is in Katmandu, Nepal. I have a picture right next to a Sadu that looks just like that. Wonder if it is the same one.
I would say Varanasi, India.
wish I could take my pit with me to all those places but I'd guess he be breed ban'd from a lot of them…………………….. also wish I could afford to travel to all those places in the 1rst place
Like most ppl it's not the breed it's how they get raised n I raised a 90lb lap dog.
Beware of Dog…..he wants to snuggle. Only real danger my dog produces is to ur nut's when he jumps into ur lap
I was thinking the same thing as I looked through this!
thats a serious danger!
Part of it is the bloodline as well. If a pit has parents that were violent then it is more likely to be violent, like humans. Your pit probably had very calm parents so it increased the chances that your pup would be nonviolent.
Source: I study aggression in dogs as a hobby because I want to save dogs from being euthanized.
my pits parents were very ill tempered we got him at 6wks old hes now 6yrs and has always been the most hyper overactive dog ever he has 2 jobs protect the wife and house outside of a mans voice raising he is a toy poodle! so sorry i have to disagree with your source. however i commend any pro bully breed work and time the breed have been frowned on for far to long. to think at one time a pitbull was the pet of an american president anf the symbol of our nations strength
Way to make this homage to Oscar and his life with his owners all about you and your dog.
wow, his owner travells alot
#6 #15 well, at least he had a happy life
What the narrative fails to disclose is that Oscar was killed by his owners.
i see a different dog named Oscar their that was a dachshund
Dogs are awesome!

Nothing more awesome in this world than a dog.
#4 Thats a lol pic
…Damn those jealous cars
Seemeelike an awesome addition to the family. RIP
Wow thats some serious travelling and awesome pics…can you adopt me next =)
I am curious how he was allowed past customs. Someone above did mention the quarantining thing. There may be some sort of exception when they fly first class, I don't know.
I'm sorry to hear he was hit by a car in the U.S. After traveling the world, what a crappy way to go…but talk about an amazing set of photos.
I wish I could take my two small dogs with me, and travel like Oscar.
RIP little guy
Wonderful story, it made my morning.
