I saw this movie for the first time in the summer of 87. I was 7 years old. I now own the trilogy on Blu-Ray, and for some reason every time I see it on a movie channel the remote stops and I watch it again. All 3 of em. Can't help it.

#24 F you Rygar! I don;t know how many times I played you and had to leave my Nintendo on since there was no save feature back then. And then my mother would inadvertently, or intentionally, turn it off!

    • dweber677

Don't get me wrong it was an great game. I just hate that it was so damn long and there was no way to save other than pause and turn off the TV and pray a parent turned it off.

And I believe you are thinking of the yo-yo of doom as the weapon. All I remember is it was round had blades and returned back to you.

    • Jon

LOL I was looking for a comment on this, Rygar was awesome

      • j6251c

I saved up my paper route money for this game. I remember the day I got it, I thought I was the coolest kid in the neighborhood. I wish I could get a handful of these games for my kids to play. As punishment.

    • GOOG

Rygar was impossible. What the hell was that weapon anyway? Nintendo would get too hot and freeze up EVERY TIME.

  • ShaggleROC

Just rename this post 'Throwback Thursday' now and forever
