We're all familiar with Nick Offerman's hilarious character creation, Ron Swanson. Parks and Rec's delightfully deadpan man's man loves bacon and breakfast food. He despises most public interaction, government, and his two ex-wives. The Swanson Pyramid of Greatness hangs proudly on my wall.

Many people are discovering a very cool side to the actual man behind the mustache. Nick Offerman is an amazing woodworker. Nick would say he's 'fair to middling at best' but his work speaks for itself. For 12 years Nick has owned the unpretentious-yet-distiguished Offerman Woodshop. Nick and a small team of talented and kind craftsmen create everything from Cedar Strip Canoes to Redwood Root Tables.

About a year ago, my brother and I heard about a table Nick had made himself - a huge mahogany dining table - sturdy, with 5 coats of hand-rubbed oil finish. Ever since we saw this photo of the table, my brother and I have been on a quest to make the mahogany masterpiece our own; a long journey that would inspire a hunt from gallery to gallery and finally lead us to Offerman Woodshop.

Today we’re proudly announcing that theCHIVE has joined forces with Nick Offerman to create the newest Chive Tee, Offerman Woodshop. Check it out right here.
