Today I laughed at a picture of a dog with painted eyebrows.
Thanks to work, I thought a LOT.
By either pride, or sadness, or worry for my own kids, this brought me to the verge of tears.
    Jimmy V would be proud.

I was that kid who was at the bottom of the pecking order, and a lot of that stuff started at home. Fortunately, my Mom was there in real time, telling me "They're wrong." It is so important to have a friend, a mom, a cheerleader, to clarify things like that. It planted the seeds of my rather extroverted, in control, life. And it's made me feel sorry for the bullies who grew up to be warped adults. They were harmed more than I was in the end.

Holy cow. In high school I was picked on, and I picked on kids weaker than me. Today I can remember several kids who I wish I could say "I'm sorry." to. This is a powerful presentation.

I was moved to tears as well…especially when he came to the part about them being wrong…never did I think that THEY were wrong…thank you for this…I may not have had broken bones and bruises, but the words are scars left forever on my casted heart.
