Tomorrow theCHIVERS are hopping on a plane to St. Augustine, Florida. We’ll be playing in the 13th Annual Murray Bros. Caddyshack Charity Golf Tournament. This year, the charity benefits the Firehouse Subs Public safety Foundation. The goal of The Foundation is to provide fire departments with badly-needed life saving equipment they might not otherwise be able to afford.
Leading up to the event, Bill asked us to create a special shirt for theCHIVERS to buy, with all proceeds going to charity. Our idea was The William Murray. We loved it, he loved it, and now theCHIVERS can own it.
We are also making 400 Cinderella Story posters available RIGHT HERE. Signed by The Man himself, you can get them framed or unframed.
We’ll be presenting a check to the firefighters on Friday on behalf of all the Chivers as well as bringing y’all plenty of photos of our antics because beer.
We can’t thank the Chivers enough for this opportunity. It was your conversations with Bill over the years that tipped him off to theCHIVE’s charitable core. I owe you all a drink or seven.
Also, we’ll be auctioning off the original #1 William Murray signed print in the DAR today. Stay Tuned!
You can donate directly to Murray Bros. Charity RIGHT HERE.
UPDATE: I cannot thank theCHIVERS enough for this. We just raised A TON of money for charity. I don’t have the final count but it’s around $90,000. The sheer volume of Chivers who participated in this is unlike anything we’ve ever seen (and that’s saying a lot). You should all be very proud of yourselves.
