On Monday at Noon PST, tickets for the first public tasting of KCCO Black Lager at the Redhook Brewery on August 22nd at 6pm will be available. I suppose you can say an event like this will never happen again. We’re reserving a massive block of tickets for our service men and women as well as our Green, Silver, and gold Chive Charities members. Y’all are the heart and soul of theCHIVE and we think you should have first crack at all this.
There will be general admission tickets available as well but you’ll have to be quick on the mouse. We can’t give away the beer because it’s against the law n’ stuff (we tried). So admission to the event is a whopping $5. Just look for theCHIVE tent when you walk in. Something tells me it won’t be hard to spot, and follow the green misfits.
Then at 9pm the Redhook Brewery will open the doors to its tap room exclusively for Chivers to begin phase two of our evening I’ve tentatively titled “Who let a bunch of boozy Chivers loose in the Redhook Brewery?” – it’s a working title.
We’re very proud of this beer. It’s unique but it ain’t fancy; it’s the exact same recipe as the home brew Chivers who score a tour of theCHIVE have been getting drunk on for years.
All theCHIVERS will be in attendance which means you’ll have the privilege of telling your grandchildren you were the first to taste KCCO Black before Mac threw up on your shoes… and your wife.
See y’all Thursday.
