It took Austrian-born adventurer Michael Kemeter 35 attempts to cross Lake Green in Austria breaking his own world record for ‘waterlining’ of 222m. This time the 24 year old daredevil made it a full 250 meters across the lake, but it didn’t come easy. The record attempt took 20 days to complete including one time which saw Mich make it to within just 6 meters of the finish before he lost his balance.
On completing the walk Michael said: ‘It is an incredible feeling to break your own record. The biggest issue is the wind and the weather conditions – you have to wait to make it as perfect as possible for the actual walk. And before you criticize Michael for crossing such a safe slackline just feet over a lake, Michael has other slackline records that take him from the top of rooftops, over canyons, on the side of cliff, and much more which can be seen at his website.
