It’s the final leg of winter, and while it should be a slow time for unofficial meetups, Chivers and Chivettes just don’t understand the concept of hibernation.
It’ll only pick up from here so let’s keep the good times rolling – we only ask you to remember what momma told you: make us proud. Have a blast, keep it fun, get wasted, and tip the shit out of the staff.
The Michigan Chive Chapter raised over $15,000 at this meetup for a local boy name Daniel who has a rare and incurable neurological disorder called Congenital Bilateral Perisylvian Syndrome.
At the time of his diagnosis there were only 60 cases in the US. Daniel’s brain basically does not develop properly. At 8 years old, Daniel is unable to walk, talk, or even use his hands properly or eat unassisted.
