Sgt. Chris Kelley, who had been a member of the Hutto Police Department for seven years, was killed last Wednesday after attempting to arrest a motorist.
Around 10 a.m. that morning, Police attempted to stop 26-year-old P.O.S. (I’m not putting a killer’s name in this post). The worthless prick sped off and crashed into a fire hydrant before fleeing on foot.
Then he took an unmarked police vehicle and struck (and ran over) Kelley before fleeing the scene, DPS said.
Kelley was a supervisor with the criminal investigations unit (Hutto PD). Previously, he served in active duty in the U.S. Air Force, was a member of the University of Texas Police Department and worked with the Williamson County Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Bill Gravell.
The sad event marks the city of Hutto’s first death of a police officer while in the line of duty.
